100 Watts of handwired classic tone heaven. Based on the design of the highly coveted Overdrive Special, and tuned for everything from Jazz to Hard Rock. Experience complex touch and pick dynamics when you are looking for soulful and expressive sounds, or activate the foot-switchable overdrive or preamp boost when you’re looking to take the lead.
This circuit features a “Bright” and a “Mid” switch as well as a 3 way switch to choose between “Rock” and “Jazz” voicings. Front controls also include preamp “Volume” or gain, as well as “Treble,” “Middle,” and “Bass” controls, as well as Overdrive “Volume” and “Level” controls, “Master” Volume, and “Presence” control. On The rear, impedance is selectable between 4, 8, or 16 ohms, as well as a half-wattage switch, and manual switches to allow, or override footswitch controls.
